Privacy and visitor data
What we record
When you open a page, our own counter records which page was shown, roughly from which country and device, and which search or link referred you. We do not record your name, e-mail address, phone number or anything about your possessions.
Cookies
The visit counter stores a random visitor number in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies. That number, the page address, the page you came from and your browser and device type are sent to our own server, not to advertisers. The counter runs only after you allow it, and you can change your decision at any time.
The calculators
The buyback and investment calculators run in your browser. The weight, purity, margin or budget you type in is not sent to our server and is not linked to your visit.
Who provides the prices
Price requests to MetalFlow are made from our server, so your browser neither sees the access key nor sends personal data to the provider.
How long data is kept
Visit statistics are kept for up to twelve months and are then deleted or aggregated so they can no longer be traced back to a single visit.
Your choices
You can ask us to check, correct or delete data connected with your visit, and you can object to the measurement. Blocking scripts in your browser also stops our counter; the site keeps working without it.
If this changes
This page describes the practice of this site in plain language. If the site later adds accounts, a newsletter or advertising, the page is updated and the date of the change is stated.
